FOLLOW 4 NOW:MY SHOUT OUT OF THE DAY

Man,I remember going to the cramped shows and being so excited to see one of my favorite bands! Sometimes,it was just me and my girl, sometimes a whole crew of folks. All digging teh scene. We all would frequent reggae shows, blues shows, local rock shows, and Follow 4 Now was the local supergroup with david Ryan Harris playing hero and mastermind!Oh,how they rocked us and blew our minds!I was witnessing the foundation of a rock royalty reign.I could smell it and taste it. The love for this band was incredible and feverish. The whole following was amazing. The fans reminded me of Prince fans and Living Colour fans where you had every nationality and economic level just being so coll with each other and there for the music and the spectacle. How sdid they fail to make an indelible mark on teh world outside of the one I sweated in and drank too much in??How do you go from being on the verge to being virtually invisible and forgotten? This seems some injustice. But,at least,I have my t-shirts,my hats,my cd's,and my memories.I still remember wearing my F teh White Hood t-shirt to home depot in a particularly non-brotha friendly area and getting cheers from both black and white alike. That was something. I followed you, david and I continue to do so.
