I got this feeling that you're going to stay
I never knew that it could happen this way
Before I met you I was falling apart
But now at last,I really know that we are...

Two of Hearts, two hearts that beat as one
Two of Hearts,I need you,I need you!
Two of Hearts, two hearts that beat as one
Two of Hearts,come on,come on

Dexys - one hit wonders in the States may be... much bigger over here.

You should check out Geno, Jackie Wilson Said or Searching for the Young Soul Rebels.

All classics.

Dexys must be on itunes...

The whole "Too Rye Aye" era was just a phase that Dexys/Kevin Rowland went through. Subsequent albums very different and increasingly sporadic but he's an interesting artist alright.

Snap

Quarterflash actually had three BIG hits, and some minor ones.

Harden My Heart
Find Another Fool -- my favorite
Take Me To Heart

I even saw this band live back in the '80s. Too bad the lead singer had a coke habit and couldn't sing or play the sax that night.

edit: okay, here's my Top 10 fav one-hit wonders from the '80s

1. "Boys in Town" - Divinyls (long before that "other" song anyway)
2. "99 Luft Balloons" - Nena
3. "Mickey" - Tony Basil
4. "Come On Eileen" - Dexy's Midnight Runners
5. "Nobody" - Sylvia (well her only "pop hit")
6. "They Don't Know" - Tracey Ullman
7. "I Know There's Something Going On" - Frida
8. "Fantasy" - Aldo Nova (his only song to be a "hit")
9. "Sugar Free" - Wa Wa Nee (good imitation of the mpls sound)
10. "Running Up That Hill" - Kate Bush (her only BIG hit)

honorable mentions:
"I Know What Boys Like" - The Waitresses
"Pass the Dutchie" - Musical Youth
