& as a bonus there are also 10 original accapella(vocal only)
takes by Marvin Gaye discovered from the Motown vault.
Stuff like "What's going on""Grapevine""Let's get it on" & more
described as if you were there with Marvin in the recording booth as he recorded
it.This sounds almost to good to be true.
& a funny thing is I recently posted a thread here complaining about the
fact that there are no intresting releases from the Motown vaults smile

I picked this up Tuesday and I really hope they do this for other Motown artists as well. I was slightly dissappointed by the choice of footage that they used for the 70s material (the Save the Children footage was great thumbs up! they really need to put that entire show on DVD).. but overall it's definitely worth the $$$ especially for the full promotional clip of A Funky Space Reincarnation....

Tell me about it; the albums Whats Going on and I want you are two of my favourites albums ever. Marvin Gaye was pure class and it makes me so mad when you get the likes of elvis being hailed as the "second coming" even after death and Marvin Gaye is practically ignored..

Remember about 8-10 years ago, ABC had a two part Documentary about Motown ? In it was some amazing live performance clips from the 60s. Why the hell aren't those performances available on DVD ??
