dont feel bad - i wouldnt have known either ... until ... i saw a documentary on the dude ... it had to do with the rock group "the pogues" which - to many were the first big irish band (before U2 etc) ....
he is a chronic alcoholic .... and the documentary dealt with his alcoholism and how ... he was basically totally addicted ... people around him knew it ... people tried to help ... but to no avail ... etc .... he pretty much reminded me of a walking zombie ... but true to human nature- u did feel sorry for the dude .... and there was more to the story of course ... like chronic alcoholism in his family etc ... if i remember ... it has been a while ....   | |
