what is your best Soundtrack album

Mine is Jackie Brown; 110 street, Natural High etc.
Infact Jackie Brown became my fav Tarintino(sp) film because of the soundtrack..the acting wasn't bad either.

Before Sunrise/Before Sunset. The movies are my favourite and listening to the album makes me get the feeling that I get from watching the movies.

Lion King and Pocahontas are also good, but they don't get me emotional like Before Sunrise/Sunset.

I actually have two!

One is Peter Gabriel's soundtrack to "The Last Temptation of Christ" called 'Passion.' Ironically enough, it is the perfect soundtrack for the bedroom (if you catch my drift...) and, my second favorite soundtrack is to the early 90's art-house flick "Baraka." (It featured some great work from Dead Can Dance, among others... AND the film was actually excellent!!!)

Can anyone tell me who sings "Natural High" from the Soundtrack of Jackie Brown? I initially thought it was The Delfonics but I've gone over their albums and I can't see to find it.

My favorite is "Dancin'", the one where the '40s music clashes with the '80s music...it was the first mash-up!

even though they can't hold a candle to the brilliance that is "xanadu", here are some of my other favorite soundtracks:

"hedwig & the angry inch" (i like both the stage and film version)

ANY david lynch soundtrack ("wild at heart", "fire walk with me", "lost highway", "mulholland dr.", etc.)

"until the end of the world"

that one soundtrack prince did about the guy on the motorcycle

that other soundtrack prince did about the guy with the pointy ears

I think that's my favorite, too. Probably my favorite movie as well. If it wasn't for the soundtrack, it would be a really great movie still but not one of my favorites.
