Hear the new PSB single "I'm with Stupid" They have it playing on thier site in the background...
I like it. Sounds so PSB and quite 80's sounding...in a good way. This is a very satisfied sounding first single. Yeah suddenly theres alot of hub bub bout this album even being released in the US. I dont know if its all just something to stir the pot, since everything else except for Battleship as been released stateside, Or if EMI just doesnt think the cd doesnt have a chance in the US market.
But Ill put down the extra $$$ for an import and knowing the Boys if that happens Im sure their will be something extra for the US fans. The Boys always treat the fans to Goodies. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

I'm just afraid it's going to be another copy-controlled album like Popart, which I never bought 'cause I can't put it on my iPod. I'll shell out the dough for an album, but if I'm going to get screwed over by the record company, then I'll just download it somewhere.
Part of the reason I never really got into the last Foo Fighters and My Morning Jacket albums was because of the copy control garbage. I put everything on my iPod and play it through my car stereo; that way I don't scratch the CD and I have easy access to all of my music. It's insane to think that after I drop anywhere from $13 to $18 on something, I don't have all of the privlidges that I should. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

EMI hasn't released a PSB disc since, I think, "Very" (maybe even "Discography"....possibly they released "Disco 2") in the US. They've released their albums on different labels including Sire/Warners ("Bilingual", "Nightlife") and Sancutary ("Release", "Disco 3"). I would be shocked if Sanctuary doesn't release the album but it isn't looking good although I heard the new DVD single is coming as a region 1 (US) edition, which will be awesome! I love the music video....You'd have to be a real PSB fan (or Pethead) to like it. "I'm Chris Lowe" "I'm the other one."
