There are a handful of folks on here who I'm almost scarily-compatible with when it comes to music. Some on other continents, and I wonder how we all ended up with such similar tastes.
Instead of creating a list when I will inevitably leave someone off, I will make one special mention: sextonseven, although I don't know how much of our collections we have in common, your taste is so diverse and we have enough similar interests that I now pay VERY close attention to what you are listening to and recommending .... How in THE hell did I forget DavidEye? He's easily one of the org's legends. Although we don't listen to too much in common, he's one whose opinion I always look to and I always learn something from him. Plus, I definitely relate to his thoroughness. We've definitely got to meet up someday.

I learn from everyone, but seem to have a few compatible folks:
Minneapolisgenius - Our tastes in music seem to really line up. It's the Led Zeppelin in our bones and our ability to cross from punk to classical. We seem to share many names on our favorite bands list. Gangstafam - I take note when GF really likes something, and am likely to explore an artist just because of that. Stax - It's the classic rock connection. theAudience - I really like the feeling of mutual respect we have, both being musicians. Anxiety and NWF - When I want to go back to the 80s and my college days or discuss the likes of Laurie Anderson.
