Floetry & Goapele I had the pleasure of seeing Floetry and Goapele last night here in San Diego at the House of Blues...the ladies put on an awesome show, Goapele who is from Oakland Ca opened up the show,I have been sleeping on this lady...she did a really nice set,she had a minor microphone malfunction but she handled it like a trooper,it was cute. Floetry did their thing and Natalie pretty much lead the show so full of energy...Marcia did "Feelings" and brought alot of people to tears. I just wish the show was longer...do not miss them if they come to your area I am not African. Africa is in me, but I cannot return.
I am not taína. Taíno is in me, but there is no way back. I am not european. Europe lives in me, but I have no home there. I am new. History made me. My first language was spanglish. And I am

I think I'm the only one that despises Nat's rap skills. I could roll with Marsha all day and nite until the microphone goes out but Nat irks the living fecal matter out of me. Living to die and I'll die to live again - 360 degrees - comprehend

More complete and more "Her"ish. But doesn't Goapele look just like Solange, Beyonce's young hoish ( ) sister? Living to die and I'll die to live again - 360 degrees - comprehend
