"Style" by Cameo A lot of people have forgotten about "Style" by Cameo but I love this one. It's kind of like a rip off their own song "Be Yourself" the year before. It's one of their last really hard funky jams before they started doing more mellower or different sounding stuff like "She's Strange" and the things that followed it. Give it up for this jam. Andy is a four letter word.

There are some great tracks on the "Style" album, such as the title track, "This Life Is Not For Me", "You're A Winner" and "Aphrodisiac". The album is a bit of a carbon copy of "Alligator Woman" though (AW is definitely their best album).
I also have the 12" of "Style".

... and it's a damn shame that you nearly can't find Cameo cds somewhere, with the exception of Best Ofs or Anthologies. Same goes for Rick James.

this is one of those "lost" Cameo jams that nobody ever talks about anymore. The 'Style' album is all but forgotten, probably because it was sandwiched between two really successful albums---'Alligator Woman' (1982) and 'She's Strange' (1984)---but I'd certainly like to find it.I never heard anything from this album besides the title track, which got only minor airplay in my area.

!!! Cameosis, Ugly Ego, She's Strange and Word Up! are at least available on CD. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.
