Does any one know what "Human Nature" is about? I personally believe it's about Manhatten.

Having said that it is a beautiful song, it's so soothing..

Not even most Prince songs are as good as Billy Jean, so Human Nature cannot be his best song. Next!!

I totally agree. Human Nature is not only the best song on Thriller, but on of the best songs of MJ's career. It's brilliant and I love it.

I am a big fan of the non video tracks and I think that they tend to get overlooked. when I was nine I would listen to this album from beginning to end before many of the singles even had videos. im a Baby Be Mine fan and human nature is a great song also.

Human Nature was like the 6th single, and it made me realize that this album will be a classic forever. What an album.

Agreed. But MJ didn't write it. It was written by Steve Porcaro and John Bettis.

not a proper one. just a quick shabbily done cartoon effort for the 'Moonwalker' montage.

I find it so hard to pick between Michael songs but I too think I would plump for Human Nature.

I think it's the second best song on 'Thriller'.The best song is "Billie Jean".

Both of these songs haven't aged one bit music

It's a great song indeed, but I rank it 3rd after two great dance songs 'Starting Something' and 'Billie Jean'. They played the latter in a club last night and er'ybody went crazy... lol

For the older peeps, do any of you remember when Thriller was all the rage from late 82 to 85.? I was living in West Africa at the time and some of my neighbours who had the album would blast out Wanna Be Startin something at night and when I woke up the morning I would hear Billie Jean being blasted out of sound systems.

Then late one night I heard Human Nature on the radio and I didn't even know it was MJ initially but all I knew was that song blew me away and soothed me to sleep that night. When I finally got to hear the whole album for myself I knew something special was going to happen with Thriller, well before it was declared the best selling album of all time. I couldn't believe little Michael Jackson from the J5 could come up with another album to almost equal the brilliance of OTW.

Obviously I should have know nothing good last forever sad and from Bad onwards it was downhill from then on, but if I had a magic wand I would do anything to turn back the clock to 1983 just to recapture the glory of those days.

I know the feeling. Sometimes when I watch The Wiz I get that feeling. Like damn he used to be so soulful. He was brilliant.

I heard a cover of this by somebody once. He was a "David Gray" type of act. He played it on an acoustic guitar. I'm pretty sure that he was called David too but I can't find out who it was.
