Demon Days: Yay or Nay & Y?

My best friend bought the album yesterday and now we are listening to the album. Even Though I've had listened to this album since it came out, I considered it inferior to "G-Sides", one of the best compilations I ever heard.

Now, I really give props to Demon Days. It's the freshest album I've heard! Thanks Sandra 4 making me apreciate it!

A Big YAY, gentlemen!

I love Demon Days. It was my 2nd favorite album of last year. While there are a few tracks on the album I've tired of a bit, it's still holding strong with me.

Even Feel Good Inc and Dare which have been SOOOO overplayed by radio are still faves of mine. Usually at this point I'd be hating on tracks like that, but the love goes on.

Oh and, IMO, it kicks ass all over G-sides. smile

There are a lot of great B-sides from Demon Days as well. When you compile them all it's makes for a nice companion CD.

Agreed. I thought I read they were gonna do something like that. They need too because it's basically another full length album.

This is the best album of 2005, in my opinion, and I wasn't a fan of theirs before its release. It so perfectly captures the essence of this decade's paranoia through an amalgam of unique styles.

There are some really good tracks on this album (Dirty Harry, Feel Good Inc, November Has Come, Dare, Demon Days) which I stil play regularly, but I really don't care for much of the rest of the tracks. So in the end the album is uneven.
RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

Yay, yay, yay! I love Gorillaz, and this album is so fresh and fun. There haven't been too many albums that I can listen to all the way through that have come out in the last few years.

Love this album. I didn't really dig the first Gorillaz album, but this is completely original.

I'm reasonably keen on the album, but I'm responding mostly to give a grand salute to that avatar! Bravo!

In fact, I think it's high time Mr. Smith made a reappearance in my setup. hmmm
