I've always liked the Zooropa album a lot, quite a lot people diss this album. But imo it's just some guys (U2) playing around with some wonderful ideas in a studio...
especially hearing Bono perform Stay (faraway so close) for the first time ever in Nijmegen 1992 or was it 1993, damn memory, he asked us (the audience) to not clap cuz it made him 4get the lyrics and he did fuck up lol 2 funny...

Zooropa is my favorite U2 album, barring All You Can't Leave Behind.

My picks:

Boy- I Will Follow
October- the great unknown U2 album; I couldn't say!
War- New Year's Day
Unforgettable Fire- MLK
Joshua Tree- Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
Rattle and Hum- All I Want is You
Achtung Baby- One
Zooropa- Numb/Babyface (tie)
Pop- Discotheque easily...
All You Can't Leave Behind- Beautiful Day/Stuck in a Moment (tie)

I have to give a big shout-out to "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" from the Batman Forever soundtrack. That song is so awesome!

I LOVE THAT SONG!!! That's the one reason I didn't get rid of Passengers long ago. If you haven't heard it, find it. Great stuff.

Miss Sarajevo, Slug and Your Blue Room are about the only other good-to-great tracks on this (very weird) album.

Chacmool

I need to give a shout out to A Sort of Homecoming from The Unforgettable Fire. My first U2 album was Joshua Tree, so when I started going back to find their older stuff, this one stuck out as a song I hadn't heard before.

"A Sort of Homecoming" from Unforgettable Fire is one of the best...good call on that one Chac.

Also for an honorable mention goes to "Love is Blindness" from Achtung Baby...I have been listening to this album a lot lately and forgot how great this song is.
