Yeah. The cashier at the record shop was very confused when I plopped down 3121 and this DVD on the counter. lol They don't believe that Prince and Megadeth are my favorite artists.

Dave contributes to the lead guitar work right? It would be weird if he didn't...

Marty IS an excellent player. One of the reasons that he's not there anymore was that he didn't agree with the direction Dave and Co wanted to go in. That direction being something heavier. Marty wanted to steer more towards the "pop" feel that Metallica went for.

That's why I'm thankful. I like my Megadeth hard and heavy. biggrin

yeah you're right on that. Even Youthanasia was a little schock to me back in the day (bought it close after it's release).
Btw, Countdown to... was my first MD album, the first cd I ever bought. I remember wandering around in class and showing the girls the Rattlehead, since I wanted to lay them down... did not work.

2nd one was rust in peace, the earlier stuff followed later.

That's interesting. It was the opposite for me. Since I'm a female, guys thought it was cool that a chick listened to Megadeth.

Countdown was classic. Not my favorite, but it's great. My first was Peace Sells. Actually got it on vinyl at first, then went to CD. smile
