Almost bought the Blondie 'Sound+Vision' best-of...

...but I didn't want to fork over the money a THIRD time for a Blondie best-of (ok, one of those times was a gift, but STILL!), just for the DVD.

Does anyone know if there might be a Blondie "Vision" DVD coming out in the near future without the "Sound"? lol I'd love to have those videos. I just can't deal with the waste of having another best-of CD I'll never ever touch.

At the very least, someone please help me justify myself into buying it. lol

There's a Greatest Hits video compilation with oodles of Blondie videos that was released back in 2002. It's quite good.

Anx, good thing you didn't buy the U.S. version. The UK version has two extra songs on the CD & the DVD: X-Offender & I'm Always Touched By Your Presence Dear

according to somebody who bought it on amazon.com, these two songs were hits in the U.K. only.

Yeah, but they're such classics at this point, there was no reason not to include them.

Why sell the U.S. fans short like that? As if because they weren't hits in the states, U.S. fans must hate those songs or something.

I know, it's lame. "I'm Always Touched..." is a contender for their best song.

No, but I saw reports on the news and read about it in the paper this morning. The ceremony will air on VH1 on March 21st.

There have been alot of Blondie music and video collections released. The Platinum Collection seems to be the most concise of their music, and the Greatest Hits dvd that came out a few years ago has most of their videos including X-Offender and I'm Always Touched By Your Presence Dear.

Have you see Debbie lately? She looks great, looking healthy and sporting reddish hair. I heard about them having some beef with certain bandmates back in 99. but not sure if that's still going on now for the RRHOF stuff. I hope they can put that behind them for a little while, so fans can celebrate them and their music.
