don't let haters get to ya. Not everybody has to like the same kind of music - - it's all good. I like alot of stuff that many people don't like.

As for Janet, i think she's aiiight. I like a few of her songs. If i'm being honest, I think she has a weak voice and wouldn't have a career in music if she wasn't a Jackson. But who knows - like I said, just my opinion.

I agree by the way, Janet is great... I love some Janet, but like you said, this is the net, people haven't really learnt how to be congenial yet in the relatively short time we've been able to say whatever we want online.

I'm gonna take a wild stab in the dark and say that Janet doesn't really have any "haters" outside of internet communities. In fact, they never "hated" her before they joined internet communities. Her hardcore fans just overrate her importance in the grand scheme of popular culture to NO END, and it's a tad annoying.

Only difference is that , compared to most of us , it will be blown up in the media . It's a sour price artists have to pay , and being seen as a role-model , but guess what , they're human too ... wow , another discovery .

Body-weight is a HUGE problem worldwide . And that goes for both gaining or losing weight .
JANFAN4L already mentioned the current nationwide problem of obesity .
Jamie Oliver , a professional-cook in the UK , recently introduced more healthier nutrician in the cantines from schools , because too much fat food was available over there , and statues proved that there was growing a big health-problem .
For some people , staying in shape is harder than for other people .
It can be the result of genes in ones family . Genes that make you gain weight faster than others . There are people who can eat whatever they want , and hardly gain any weight because they burn the energy much faster .
As much as losing weight drastically ( like boulimia or anorexia ) is a psychological problem , gaining weight is most of the time too . Another problem that can occur is that if you succeed to lose weight , you really have to keep it in shape . This not always succeeds , and one can fall back to their former weight ( the yo-yo effect )
There has been a lot of pressure on the Jackson Family last year , which could have been the reason why Janet gained weight .
She has proven before to be in great shape :
