OMG! Have you heard what Devo is doing? Devo 2.0 is composed of 5 kids ranging in age from 10 to 12 years old, all covering Devo songs. Devo produced the music for them and Gerald Casale directed all of the videos for the bonus DVD. Included on the CD are many of Devo's original hits, including the classic 'Whip It,' as well as two new originals.

I am mortified... shocked... bewildered. WHAT are they thinking? Could this be the end of the world? I was really hoping for something contemporary - a breakthru comeback or new direction. This really is different and doesn't even sound appealing! I have no idea why I am obsessing about this -- it's DEVO for cryin' out loud! But why am I upset over this???? I hope other bands are not thinking of doing this...

Devo is always fun on a philosophical level, and I'm sure this is a continuation.

The original band toured last year. A friend of mine saw them and said the show was great. They played all the classics.

I love old school Devo, but the music Mark Mothersbaugh does for Rugrats drives me nuts! It's really ugly sounding
