Well,guys, it looks like ole Eric had to get off of his tookas and go back to work, so he's over here hawking his latest CD effort "Hurricane". There he sings an uptempo R&B duet with Germany's favorite pop-soul sweetheart, Yvonne Catterfeld, on a (Euro) r&B radio friendly "post-break up" song called "WHERE DOES THE LOVE GO".

I just saw the video on MTV here and it's cute. Yvonne Catterfeld usually sings only in German, but she sounds pretty decent singing with Eric in English. She's one of the few Young German girls who takes great care to pay attention to how she sings when she attempts to do r&b influenced tunes, so even as commercial as she is, I like her. There are others who attempt to sing as she does (which, essentially is all a cop off of vintage "ballad style" Mariah) but she's the only one who even comes close,and thus, makes a fitting partner to her American counterpart in Benet....if I can figure out what the link is to the video,I'll post it here so you guys can have a look at what we're listening to on the r&b front here for pop music. It's not exactly inspired, but, at least it's harmless and fun to listen to on the car radio....
