Let's help Kisscamille find some good compilations of 70s R&B

Kisscamille asked me to recommend some good compilations of 70s soul music. She's looking for hits like "Me and Mrs.Jones","Papa Was A Rolling Stone",and "Kiss And Say Goodbye".So I thought I would start a thread about it,and let other Orgers help her out,too lol

She's also looking for some 80s R&B compilations too.Any suggestions?

For 70s soul hits, the best place to start is "Soul Hits Of The 70s:Didn't It Blow Your Mind" on Rhino Records. There are 20 volumes, spanning the entire decade. It's all there..."Backstabbers","Me and Mrs.Jones",Natural High","Sideshow","Betcha By Golly Wow","Supernatural Thing","Rock Your Baby","Lovin You",and numerous other hits.In addition, these CDs contain many rare, forgotten hits like "Love Jones".The latter CDs focus on the disco years ("You And I" by Rick James,"You Can't Change That" by Raydio,"What You won't Do For Love" by Bobby Caldwell, etc).I recommend that you get each volume.
