If people wanna know what happened to true R&B with a socio-political conscious...look no further than Donnie. This cat is all that, a bag of chips, AND 2 Snickers. Great music, great voice, TREMENDOUSLY MOVING LYRICS; a great trip altogether. MAYBE one filler cut, the rest of the CD is a STRAIGHT LISTEN THRU, trust me.

If you R&Bers/Neo Soulers don't have this CD then you must not have a pulse. WAKE UP!

I like this cd but I don't find myself thinking about it much.


he is "likeable" more than Van hunt. His cd was a waste.

I love that album. My fav track is Cloud 9. The music on that song is wonderful.

He reminds me alot of Stevie Wonder, same wonderful melodies. Cloud9, Do You Know, Turn Around, You Got A Friend and maybe Heaven Sent could all have been on one of Stevies classic 70s albums. They are that good I think
