Olu :: Soul Catcher (1999)

Anyone remember this artist?

I have this album and I liked a lot of the songs on it. Good bedtime music. My fave is "High Desert Woman."

Whatever became of him?

Good disc. The single was "Baby, Cant Leave It Alone"(?).. I think that was the video. I heard Olu is a producer now.

I loved Baby Can't Leave It Alone and The Roots Remix of Sista Why?
I was certain this guy was gonna give Maxwell a run for his money. The Stuart Matthewman tracks on his album were nice.

As the case with a lot of R&B CDs around this time, not a lot of promotion effort what put into it. Plus, it wasn't like it was a uptempo album, so usually LPs like those get lost in the shuffle.
