As much as I love Chic during the disco era, one of my favorite songs by them came after the disco era. "Rebels Are We" was the absolute jam and funky as hell.

Give it up.

I like the intro to this song - the drums, hand claps and guitar, but that's it. The lyrics (which, I know, are secondary in dance songs) are kinda corny.

They had a jam a few years later called "Give Me The Lovin'" that sounded very Jam and Lewis inspired.

I loved early '80s Chic. This and "You Are Beautiful" is my shhh.

This is a great song. It almost has a rock feel to it (even though there's no power chords in it). CHIC was/is one of my all time fave bands.
