Yea, she was wearing a glove but she definitely got a taste of some nasty shit Yep. She did. It looked pink, sort of like cake icing. But then again I didn't really closely watch that scene. LOL @ people talking about that moment in the video. It's so surprising how many things you think are minor resonate with so many people... That is why I remember it! Strawberry icing makes me

I read up about him over the years and I discovered he was a dancer before he met, befriended and fell in love with Janet. He was a dancer in the movie BODY ROCK (1984). There was a dance crew in that film called the Rhythm Nation (which, you know, will later be the title of Janet's follow-up to this album). Janet said that she got the inspiration for that album title by chatting and going back and forth with her (then-)boyfriend Rene. In 1986-87, though, she was getting to know him and they were seriously dating. EDITED! Source of new information: http://www.imdb.com/title...fc=1;ft=21 . [Edited 2/22/06 20:19pm]

Oh sh*t, please don't hate me for this but I'm totally getting my '80s movies mixed up... it's the 1984 movie BODY ROCK, not Beat Street. He played the character "Snake" in the film (befitting title, I say)
Source: http://movies2.nytimes.co...?v_id=6508 I'm sorry, orgers! The movies were so similiar in theme and feel that I got them mixed up. . [Edited 2/22/06 20:25pm]

It was one of those straight-to-wee-hours-on-Channel-7 movies with horrible acting, cheesy storylines, and to be honest the dancing in it wasn't that hot nor credible (this was just another corporate Hollywood film trying to cash in on the "breakdance fad" -- as they saw it -- of 1984). There was no real need for this film to even be made. It's as wack all-around as "Rappin'."

Anybody else think that the remix of 'When I Think of You' and 'We Don't Have To Take Our Clothes Off' by Jermaine Stewart sound pretty similar? That'd be a pretty hot mash-up. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.
