Everyone has a moderate version here in Holland I've noticed, and apparently it was really bad in S.F. a couple of years back according to my sister. Some friends of mine were in Barcelona in the fall and said that EVEYONE had a fashion mullet there! I was shocked since Barcelona doesn't seem to be the type of city that would embrace ugly fashion. 
I do have a weakness for the '72-73 British mullet/shag though.
