Raydio, A Woman Needs Love (just like you do)

Goddamn, Jesus, this song is good. This is what I call soulpop at its best. The pro-woman stance is great to see in black pop. Sex is usually seen from the side of a man's ego and needs. That bass line really cooks. Beautiful.

Great song from a great album. "Still In The Groove" from that album is Raydio at their funky best.
Andy is a four letter word.

How funny to see U discussing Ray and the gang...I just spent an hour looking 4 some of his stuff for a new compalation cd that I'm putting 2gether...I've got all of thier stuff on cassette but I'm just to lazy to transfer them to the computer tonight..."Let me Go" was another good one...I liked his/their ballads mainly but "U can't fight what U feel" kicked some butt...They need to get together again and give it another shot...

funny,I was just listening to Ray Parker Jr. and Raydio's Greatest Hits CD a few days ago lol

"A Woman Needs Love (Just Like You Do)" is a nice track. But these are my favorite songs by them:

"Jack and Jill" (1978)
"More Than One Way To Love A Woman"(1979)
"Two Places At The Same Time" (1980)
"Tonight's The Night" (1980)
"For Those Who Like To Groove" (1980)
