some good choices there
i wish more people would take note of Chad van Gaalen's album "infiniheart" though because i'm sure it would be in many peole's top lists if they'd just heard it. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

i'm sure they meant to list the decemberists instead of franz turdinand. it was all just one big silly embarrassing typo.

I don't have a single one of those. I'm so behind on what the kids listen to these days!

Nope- they got it right! The Decemberists appear at number 24 on the list, so they weren't forgotten. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

It also takes into account the number of reviews an album receives, whereas metacritic does not. Acclaimedmusic also includes year-end lists, while metacritic does not. Metacritic also favors indie releases over big-name releases in both the number of reviews and inclusion in general. I don't mean to harp on metacritic because I do visit it frequently, but I don't find it as complete as Acclaimedmusic. [Edited 2/10/06 12:48pm] Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Maybe I watch too much Subterranean on MTV, but I've heard at least one song/seen at least one video from almost all those records. I didn't think they were that obscure.
