Yeah, I do that sometimes too..

Here's some stuff outside of Prince...

Random order...

Jill Scott: (Beatiful woman, beatiful voice, beatiful smile)

Maxwell: (Sort of a mix, of all the old Soul singers)

Remy Shand: (Wouldn't call him the next Prince, maybe Stevie)

Brian McKnight: (Very good mood music)

Duke Ellington: (No song of his is alike)

OutKast/CeeLo: (They're not just rappers, they're Conscious Rappers)

Alicia Keyes: (Before she got REAL popular, her album seen the stereo everyday)

The Nappy Roots: (They're impressing me, they're not sending the 'same ol' Rap message)

Musiq: (Along with Jill, not only are they putting Philly on the map, but taking this Neo_Soul thing to another level)

Clipse and The Neptunes: (I'm not much of a Rap fan anymore, but I can't help but to like that song "Grindin"

That's all folks

Blue Cashmere
"Don't Play Me"
Blue music

Freespirit

Definetly cannot order these specifically, they all hold their own significance. Plus, these are the ones that come to immediate mind. love

"Caravan Of Love"- Isley Jasper Isley
"Purple Rain"- Prince
"Happy"- Surface
"Free"- Prince
"This Woman's Work"- Kate Bush as well as Maxwell's love
"You Give Good Love"- Whitney Houston
"Shake You Down"- Gregory Abbott
"Call His Name"- Howard Hewett
"Real Love"- Skyy
"Tender Love"- Force MD's

Only 10... now choosing is nearly the hardest thing to do, there are far too, too many... love

That's almost an impossible question! For simplicity's sake, I'll eliminate Prince songs since there's 10 right there.

In no order...This could change:

Brickhouse - Commodores
Tainted Love - Soft Cell
What's Goin' On? or Sexual Healing - Marvin
Stand - Sly
Chameleon - Herbie Hancock
(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay - Otis Redding
Kashmir or Achillies Last Stand or Tea for One - Led Zeppelin
This Is A Man's World - James Brown
Helter Skelter - The Beatles
Play That Funky Music (White Boy) - Wild Cherry
Superstition or I Wish (or maybe That Girl) - Stevie Wonder

That's 11 (more, counting the "or's")...Jesus, that IS impossible!

More:

Crosseyes and Painless - Talking Heads
She Watch Channel Zero - Public Enemy
Limp - Fionna Apple
Sunless Saturday or End The Reign - Fishbone
Breaking The Girl or Soul To Squeeze - Red Hot Chilli Peppers
Games Without Frontiers - Peter Gabriel
Detroit Rock City or Strutter - KISS
Moonage Daydream or Fashion - David Bowie
Eye of the Beholder - Metallica
Where It's At or Nicotine and Gravy - Beck
Indifference or Even Flow - Pearl Jam
Bold As Love or Little Wing - Hendrix
Human Nature or Waiting - Madonna
Charlotte Sometimes - the Cure
Come As you Are - Nirvana
War Pigs - Black Sabbath
Heaven or Can't You Hear Me Knockin' - Rolling Stones
Thunderkiss '65 - White Zombie

Fuck this. I've got more. No way I can name just 10! Can I post four or five lists of sets of ten songs each?

Good question.

smile

Edited to add the ones that keep popping into my head

Another good one! There isn't too much I don't like of Alice's...well...until he put out "Constrictor". Then I kinda gave up on listening to him.

Mary's Prayer - Danny Wilson

Everything is wonderful
Being here is heavenly
Every single day, she says
Everything is free

I used to be so careless
As if I couldn't care less
Did I have to make mistakes?
When I was Mary's prayer

Suddenly the heavens rolled
Suddenly the rain came down
Suddenly was washed away
The Mary that I knew

So when you find somebody who gives
Think of me and celebrate
I made such a big mistake
When I was Mary's Prayer

CHORUS:
So if I say save me save me
Be the light in my eyes
And if I say ten Hail Mary's
Leave a light on heaven for me

Blessed is the one who shares
The power and your beauty, Mary
Blessed is the millionaire
Who shares your wedding day

So when you find somebody to give
Think of me and celebrate
I made such a big mistake
When I was Mary's Prayer

CHORUS

CHORUS

If you want the fruit to fall
You have to give the tree a shake
But if you shake the tree too hard,
The bough is gonna break

And if I can't reach the top of the tree
Mary you can hold me up there
What I wouldn't give to be
When I was Mary's prayer

CHORUS

CHORUS

Save me, save me
Be the light in my eyes
What I wouldn't give to be
When I was Mary's prayer
What I wouldn't give to be
When I was Mary's prayer
What I wouldn't give to be (save me)
When I was Mary's prayer

lol
I love this song too!
