New Blondie CD/DVD collection

Following the latest mash-up trend sweeping the world classic punk act Blondie are planning on combining their 80s hit “Rapture” with The Door’s “Riders On The Storm” for their upcoming greatest hits album Sound + Vision.

The group have already filmed a clip for the reworked track which will be featured on CD’s accompanying DVD, which contains all the videos for their hits. The album will be available from March 7 this year.

I don't know why they switched the name. Internationally, it's being released as Sights & Sounds.

I'll be buying it regardless.

They didn't just release a "Greatest Hits" right before their last album? Since I didn't buy that one, I guess I'll buy this one. Never heard "Good Boys" (heard a lot about it though). I love the CD cover of their last album, which a picture of Debbie Harry crica 1979 yet it was a new CD!

The Platinum Collection is pretty much the only "greatest hits" you really need. They also did a Greatest Hits dvd about 3 years ago, thats almost identical to the one listed here.

That mashup has been around for a few years, actually. I'm assuming they had it done professionally again, and had it cleared by the Doors estate folks.
