Those are some great picks! I thought I remember you saying you couldn't get into Nico's music beyond Chelsea Girl. I'm happy to see that I was wrong! The Marble Index is great, as is Desertshore!

I still stand by that, the pop sound she had early on is more to my liking. I can appreciate the cutting edge work done on The Marble Index though. Desert Shore also has some great tracks.

I heard the dogs were slaughtered and served up as bar-b-que to unsuspecting guests at Luther Campbell's 2003 Fourth of July party. shrug

Their version sounds fresher, stephanie's dated.

Now this is a serious question! lol

mr.green

If you would make a single disc (80 mins) with tracks that best describe your personality, your musical taste what songs would make the disc??? smile

I'm really curious about this!!! smile

Thank you! smile

PS: Do you know the song "Martha's Song" from Deep Forest? That song features Hungarian folk singer, Márta Sebestyén singing a traditional Hungarian folk song. ("Istenem, Istenem..." lol ) mr.green

As much as I love some of the songs from the warners period, they really can't compare to those pre warners records and songs. Something like the song Diane is just brilliant.
