Gene McFadden ( McFadden & Whitehead ) has passed away. Unfortunately, I haven't found much news about this as of today. He passed away Friday the 27th . John Whitehead of course was murdered in 2004. Gene was only 56.

Many props to Toby at Soulwalking. If I wasn't for him, I wouldn't know so many soul greats have left us. | |

Amen. I'm glad he got through the little rough patch and the site is still up. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Some of the 'New R & B' girl bands are made to look like mannequins. The singers stage has become a catwalk. Hum me one of their tunes? This is my point in a nutshell. There are no more 'Say A Little Prayers' or 'Woman To Woman's' on the mass pop market. These 'oldies' may be sampled, however, new similar product generated lies mainly ignored. 'Misty Blue' was a big hit for Dorothy Moore in the Seventies. Would it make todays charts? I don't believe so. Thesedays you have to look below stairs for the real deal and, believe me, it is still there. http://www.soulwalking.co...0Here.html =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn.
