Thank you for letting us know highfive
Stephanie Mills is one of the best female vocalists ever, and so underrated.
I hope it contains "I can't give back the love i feel for you" and the beautiful "i believe in love songs" She has a decent back-catalogue, so i hope we get some rare tracks, not just the ones that`s one every one of her MANY compilations. I`m glad they`re going for a two-disc set, can`t wait for the track listing woot!

I might have to get this compilation.I already have one "Best Of" CD by her that came out in the mid-90s,but it is missing many hit songs such as "Rising Desire","I Feel Good All Over","Last Night","Home" and several others.Hopefully, this new set will include all the hits.

I hope it contains the original version of "Home", and not the re-recording...

you mean the 70s version that she performed in "The Wiz" stage play, and not the 1989 re-recording?

Yes, i think the 1989 re-recording was a little over the top lol

I'm sure it's the 89 version, since it was the title track of the album and an R&B hit.

I know, i hate edits. When i bought Donna Summer`s "the journey", just about EVERY song was over right after i started playing it wall
Also, why not put the original "Home" on the first disc. It doesn`t make any sense to me, and of course, no "i believe in love songs" If her albums ever get re-released, i`ll be the first to buy them.

I don't think the original "Home" was ever released a single. Thus,it wouldn't appear on a Greatest Hits compilation lol you'll probably have to search for the original cast album,if it even exists.

I wish they would remaster her 1980 'Sweet Sensation' album.I think it's currently out of print. That's my favorite Stephanie Mills album.

Ooh, will this be a major release? I've already got 2 of her compilations and almost have everything on that CD.

It does, I still see it in HMV. I'd have bought it by now if it wasn't so expensive... and I only want it for 'Home'.

It could happen, David Bowie`s "Ziggy Stardust" was not released as a single, yet you can find it on most of his compilations talk to the hand hug

Yeah, me too. This has her various label material all in one place.

Now Teena Marie needs one of these "Gold" double CD releases.

Those Gold comps are usually in chronological order, so it looks like the 1989 recording of "Home" on there.

Where's "Starlight"?

Well, she`s 10 times more talented than most of today`s singers, she deserves better. Does she have a record-contract at the moment?
