I'm hoping it's not much more than the last tour.

sorry, but i'm not sitting through Spotlight and Sidewalk Talk.

and it just isn't a Madonna concert without a Holiday encore.

"Spotlight" and "Sidewalk Talk" are rare songs that she has never performed live.

there's a reason for that.

According to an Adweek news report,Nike is giving the final touches to a huge print and broadcast campaign to run during the XX Olympic Winter Games 2006 taking place in Turin,Italy. The song the company has chosen to drive the campaign is no other than Madonna's "Jump" from the multi-platinum 'Confessions On A Dancefloor' album.Sources at Nike are quoted as "very excited about the deal with Madonna and we will be cross-promoting her world tour later this year"

well I like those songs hmph!

I want a unique setlist, not the same songs that she keeps performing on every tour."Holiday" should be retired from her concerts, imo.

And she WILL do ballads on tour...she needs a break, her ass can't move THAT non stop. Hopefully she doesn't lump them all together in one section this time.
I loved Deeper and Deeper as a ballad but I hope she does the dance version this time.

if she must add ballads to this tour,I wouldn't mind hearing:

"Live To Tell"
"Bad Girl"
"This Used To Be My Playground"

she could come up with some new, fresh arrangements for these songs.

In a short interview with John Norris on TRL today,Madonna stated that she was hoping to do a tour with shows in stadiums, arenas and smaller venues, with two possible venues being the Roseland Ballroom and the Wiltern Theatre. She plans to start the tour in May in Los Angeles, which means she may open her tour at the Wiltern, which seats only 2,200 people. She wants to play mixed dates (venues) because she is "bored" with the standard arenas that she usually plays.

MADONNA MIXES IT UP ON TOUR;TREK BEGINS IN MAY

MADONNA will follow the Rolling Stone's example when she tours the world this summer (06) by mixing up dates between theatres, sports arenas and stadiums. The pop superstar insists that ever-changing venues will stop her from getting "bored" on the road.

She explains "Originally I had the idea that I wanted to do a little bit of everything---some small, some sport arenas and then stadiums".

The tour will kick off in Los Angeles in May.Full dates and venues are yet to be announced.

I have a bad habit of making fun of other fans when Madonna doesn't play their area.I'm fortunate to live in an area that she never skips when she tours lol

That's why Tron was telling me "Don't start,David".

If Madonna does the multiple type venue thing it will be really cool.

I'd love to see a more intimate performance, though tickets will be hell to try and get as well as the price.

I bet she has different sets and track lists depending on the type of venue played.

I'm not even gonna try to get tickets to the small venues. Those shows are gonna sellout in just a few minutes and I'm not gonna pay some scalper $1000 for the tix, lol.
