New STEVIE WONDER single: From The Bottom Of My Heart Browsing in HMV & Virgin on my lunch and what did I spot...?
The new Stevie Wonder single, 'From The Bottom Of My Heart'. Here are the B-sides: ~ Pastime Paradise ~ Part Time Lover (12" version) I saw the sticker on the front saying 'Includes 2 extra, classic Stevie tracks' and my heart leapt! I'm still waiting on that 'Did I Hear You Say You Love Me' extended version but - hey! - I've never heard the extended version of PTL. That'll do. By the way, Virgin also had a load of the 'Te Amo Corazon' singles for £3.99.

This has been out for a little while now.
I hear the next single will be "Shelter In The Rain". [Edited 2/13/06 16:56pm]

So far, there have been four singles from Stevie's 'A Time To Love' album...
"So What The Fuss: "From The Bottom Of My Heart" "Positivity" "Shelter In The Rain" There are videos for "So What The Fuss" and "Shelter In The Rain".I was really hoping that they would release "My Love Is On Fire" as a single.

That's my favorite track off the album. Stevie even won a Grammy for it. They had been playing Sweetest Somebody here in Chicago a lot.

From the Bottom of My Heart is pretty syrupy, but it's really catchy. The hook was in my head for days, and the intro with the harmonica is just soooo Stevie.
I like Tell Your Heart I Love You even better, though. Check this song out at:

Whilst I remember - I've seen Stevie Wonder being advertised on next week's Top Of The Pops (UK). I think it's on Mondays now.
Not sure whether he'll be performing the new video or archive footage but worth looking out for.
