My first major CD projects of the year, and this time it's Bjork!

Something about "Vespertine" is so perfect for this time of year, and lately, it's actually been making me appreciate Winter. Not an easy task.

So anyway, I've decided to make companions to each of her albums like I've done recently with Madonna.

Originally, "Vespertine" was going to be titled "Domestica", so I've rounded up all of her singles and b-sides from that era and turned them into their own little cohesive album. I really love it. Y'all should try it. And of course, it wouldn't be a TRON project without the art.

I'm glad TRON got to this project before that rascal Gangsta did ~ and it is truly beautiful in person as I was privileged to see for like 7 seconds in the freezing cold
The collages are so amazing ~ I especially love the submerged water one in the center. The cover ~ one of my all time favourites ~ it's on one of my desk tops!! Beautiful work TRON. When is the party?

I've been listening since I made it. And I guess I spoiled the surprise to you. Remember I said there was a gift that was a long time coming? Well, these are it. I promised you Homogenic tapes way back in '97 and never got around to making 'em. Well, now's the time.

I was lucky going through the Vespertine era photos. I realized that most of my favorites were all of a certain pallete - black, blue, red and green. So I think everything ties in really well together. I love her hair and clothes from that time.

Please, tell me more about the owl on the front!

It's stuff like this that makes me wish I was a Bjork fan. Seems like there's so much quality work out there, and it sucks that I can't get past her voice. Sounds great, though.

It's funny, I couldn't at first either. My Bjork evolution is strange. I knew a few Sugarcubes songs when they were out, I just didn't know they were Sugarcubes or that Bjork was involved. When "Human Behaviour" came out and was all the rage, I couldn't stand it. Hated her voice. But then "Big Time Sensuality" showed me the way and I've been her bitch ever since. Keep crackin' at it, and you might get there. She's SO good.

Very nice, Tron. I'm also one of the camp who needs time with Bjork, because she gets better with age. It might not be love at first sight, but it is a long term relationship.

Yeah, I remember collecting the Homogenic singles and trying to figure out a way to compile them in a logical fashion. But I never got around to doing that properly. I don't know what my problem is, but I'm glad you're still around to reap the benefits of my industriousness.
