I dont have a car, but I travelled today listen to Mariah Carey

My tape deck is broken, but before it died my car was full of Prince tapes. I'm quasi-famous for it. A lot of my peoples don't have cars, plus I work with a bunch of teenagers who also live in my neighborhood so I'm always giving someone a ride. It's a running joke that before you get in the Mistress's car you'd better do a quick seat-sweep to make sure you don't sit on Dirty Mind, For You, or - Goddess forbid! - this awesome tape of boots and early live stuff that Handclapsfingasnapz made for me.

I'm so bummed about the tape player, cuz I don't have one in the house and there are some things I don't have on CD, like all my 70s-soul compilation tapes. And I cannot tell you how much I miss long car rides blasting my two absolute favorite driving albums, The Black Album and For You. There's something about the Black Album that turns you into a crazy lane-switching speed demon, though. Consider this fair warning, y'all.
