I don't understand all the hate towards Gwen. She wanted to make a fun pop album. So she did. And it's tons better than most fun pop I hear.

Me either. It ain't no masterpiece, but it's not supposed to be. If one really listens to it, one can appreciate the nuances and hooks. It's a lot more intelligent under the surface than it is on the surface...at least music wise and lyric structure.

i always thought her stuff with NoDoubt was pretty pop-fluff...my ears dont hear much difference from then and now..beyond the removal of ska replaced with dance beats.

shrug

I hear no more guitars.

According to MTV.com, Gwen Stefani is releasing "Crash" as the next single off "Love.Angel.Music.Baby." I dare say she's squeezing every last mile out of that record that she can. It's rare to get five singles off an album these days. I'm heading toward the one-year anniversary of my college graduation, and girl's been pimping this CD since the early fall of senior year. I still like it, though, even if I've skipped "Luxurious" since I bought it. That sample is played out.

See that's the thing. You DON'T see that many singles released anymore. It's very 80's marketing...and the type I think is missing in this day and age of disposable music. To actually risk the dollars to really get this album out there.

ANd can I say, that if it wasn't "good", 6 singles would not be released, nor would it have enjoyed the rollercoaster of a ride it has.

I'm shocked at all the hate she has here...

If her album flopped hard, all of you would have been calling her a genius!

She did pop on LAMB. Good Pop!

Guess all of u prefer the emancipation of hippo or that faggot usher!

*pics one of it's version of LAMB and listen 2 "Cool" once again*

15 mins of fame? She's been around with No Doubt since '87 and they released their 1st album in March of '92.

Gwen Stefani's music is a side project from No Doubt hence y it was released under the Name Gwen Stefani, not No Doubt, u can't compare compare them 2 closely, Gwen has said this is a fun dance record and a bit of a guilty pleasure. No Doubt was 2 start recording a new album early this year, but may now be delayed due 2 her pregnancy.

Crash is the next single and the video will probably be a live clip from the tour 2 coincide with a Live DVD from the tour.

A 6th single was probably released, since her new cd which was 2 come out this spring (with some songs that didn't make the 1st cd, and some new songs) has been pushed back due 2 her pregnancy.

are they going to try to release EVERY song from that album as a single?

No, just anything with a hint of R&B.
