Was listening to 'Live to Tell' and 'Take a Bow' the other day and thought about how Madonna would do with a low key/acoustic album a'la Cyndi Lauper. Obviously her voice isn't near as powerful as Cyndi's, and she'd probably wanna play her own guitar, but I really think that some of her catalog is really durable. I'd love to hear an update on Live To Tell, especially. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

As a madonna fan as far back as I can remember, American Life was the first time I lost interest and kinda gave up on her. It's the only Madonna album apart from Evita that I don't own. I like all of her other albums, particularly Ray of Light and Music. In fact ROL is one of my favourite albums of all time, by anyone. I didn't bother with COADF until just last week when Hung Up finally grew on me. It's a better album than I expected but I can't stand the song I Like New York. Once again though, Madonna has come up with the goods after a lot of critics and fans (me) had written her off, so fair play to her. It's probably the only new music I'll buy this year. I think last year LAMB by Gwen Stefani was the only new music I bought.
back on topic, my list would be ROL Music COADF American Lfe doesn't qualify
