Pandora.com knows what you like.

Has anyone else checked out www.pandora.com yet? It's the latest addictive online toy I've found - I heard some kids talking about it on the train home from work last night, then I saw a mention of it on another forum. Checked it out for myself, and it's a pretty cool little idea - you plug in the name of an artist or song you like, and it leads you through some other songs they think you'll like...and based on your responses, they pinpoint your musical tastes and create a custom radio station for you!

Check it out!

Shit. In my continuing effort to avoid work, I already tried it and it's fun! woot! I entered The Isley Brothers, it played a good track of theirs, Sensitive Lover, then followed it with a Whispers track, Contagious. "Based on what you've told us so far, we're playing this track because it features repetitive melodic phrasing, extensive vamping, major key tonality, synthetic sonority and electriv guitar riffs."

lol Love that explanation

I entered Peaches and got a pretty kickin' electro/new wave station as a result.

I tried Prince, but the results were kinda crap. lol

well, it doesn't matter as long as people see it and since you are a senior member more people are drawn to it. So, that's great in retrospect.

But just for reference:
