Björk's best is "Vespertine" and the second best is "Homogenic" in my opinion! smile

Then "Medúlla", "Selmasongs", "Post" and "Debut"! cool

Some Sinead fans would disagree with you. I, however, am right there with you. Make no mistake, she's had some grand albums since then, but that's her best and my favorite.

Actually it was decent and she had some good songs on her second album too. Avril doesn't bother me, in fact she has pretty good range with her voice.
She's horrible live though.

I gotta agree with this. I love almost every song on her debut album. As for her second release, I love the singles "Don't Tell Me" and "My Happy Ending." (But for me, they didn't measure up to the tracks on the first. Even the non-singles on the first were better than the singles on the second IMO.)

And yeah, I downloaded some of her live tracks and ill

I don't mind the track "La La" but it was bombed on the radio and MTV so much, it is hard not to know the song, and for me it grew on me. But the rest of her catalog IMO sucks. And talk about sucking live..ill

Did Sade's first album include the song "Smooth Operator?" Because, that song is one of the best songs ever recorded in my book. So I doubt any follow up could top that, unless it included that song on it.

As for Terrance, I never got into his music that much. I dig his song "Right Thing, Wrong Way." But his debut album is pretty good, eh? If so, I might check it out.

Bowie's debut kinda sucked too. I can think of several who were great later on and started out with relatively weak debut records.

I agree with you about Jill Scott. She has come out with some good songs but her albums haven't been quite as good as her debut. I like the duet she does with Darius Rucker.
