Just got the new album... really really really good!!!!

still digesting the album... i'm not sure if it has the impact of Yoshimi, but I think it will take a while to really absorb it.

Nice. I'm looking forward to it. Yoshimi is one of my favorite albums.

this one takes time.. but with every listen, im enjoyin it a little bit more..

well.. i'd say they used the same elements in terms of the way this sounds.. this one is a bit more psycholdelic.. if u have heard The W.A.N.D. , the overall sound is very simular to this track. very hypnotic stuff.. I dig it more everyday I hear it.. it also holds a simular concept in terms of story line too..

I'd say its different tho, in a good way too..

i love both albums

to me, the album is much more rock than Yoshimi. Kinda space-rock...

From what you and Sdldawn are saying about it, I think I'm gonna really like it.
I think I may be able to hear it very soon and when I do I want to give it my full attention. Until then I may pick up their video collection on DVD(all videos in 5.1) or get Soft Bullentin CD/DVD 5.1 version. Looks like it's gonna be a LIPS weekend.

And as far as can tell, so does the new release.
I've only heard a few tracks but they are all on point.
Less dramatic more straight forward, or at least as much as the Lips can be.
Still progessing, just more rocking and refined.
