Now we`re in the year 2006, and it`s been 20 years since Anita Baker`s masterpiece album came out.
People still love this album, and personally, i think it`s one of the best albums from the decade.
Sweet love still remains my favorite Baker song, but EVERY song on that album is great.

one of the best albums ever made very likely in my all time Top 10

Rapture lp is great from start to finish, Caught Up In The Rapture is my fav. on this lp. i've loved Anita from the fisrt time i heard her voice on Angel, Will You Be Mine, Squeeze Me and my all time fav: Feel The Need from Songstress lp. but Rapture lp is the Best

My mother was a big Anita Baker fan when I was young and rebelling against all things parental. I was not hip to Anita or any "smooth"-type music. It was all boring and embarrassing to me. on a side note... anyone into the new Anita Baker Christmas album? hehe, very very nice.. and going through the albums credits and seeing all those musicians lsited on makes my heart melt right away
