I have some of their albums. Their drummer is very good. I like some of their tunes, but Molko's voice grates on me if I listen too long. Sleeping with Ghosts has some great songs on it. The Covers album has some decent stuff too.

Placebo has some magnificient tunes. "38 Degrees", "Sleeping With Ghosts", "Without You I'm Nothing"...

Too bad I sold their albums I had a couple of years ago when I needed the money.

I like them.I have all their CDs exept the first one. My favorite is "Without you I am nothing" expecially the title track and The crawl. I heard they have a new album out soon.

i love placebo, have all their albums and enjoyed their soulmates never die
live dvd a lot.

their songs are well crafted, they have a shitload of b-sides and the live
shows are (with some exceptions) mostly pretty damn good.

there are a lot of nice Molko solo tracks and colabos out there. some of my
favs among those are

* 5 Years (live acoustic Bowie cover for French tv show)
* First Day (of the rest of your life) - with Timo Maas
* Je Taime - with Asia Dub Foundation
* Carbon Kid - with Alpinestars

I used to really be into this band and have the first 3 albums. Don't you think Brian Moloko's voice is a bit annoying sometimes though??

I've only heard Pure Mornin. They didn't get much love over here.
