I've never seen anyone talk about this group on here so I thought I'd throw 'em out there.
I stumbled upon them by being on Pandora.com and listening to Porcupine Tree when this song from Blinker the Star came on and it caught my attention. Kinda power pop/rock with strong melodies stuff. The aforementioned song, September Already, is from August Everywhere. I've checked it out and it's quality stuff. Anybody hip?

Throwing this thread back out there because it's the weekend and maybe, just maybe, someone out there has heard of this band besides me.

I've heard of them but they're not really my cup of arsenic.

To be honest this kind of music usually isn't mine either. I think because I like Jellyfish and 10CC and stuff like that (only recently) it's opened me open to this kind of sound. A couple of years ago I wouldn't have been receptive to this.
It's got really good and interesting song writing. Kind of a Beach Boys if they were alt rock and modern.
