well what sucked was the tickets cost a fortune...it was being billed as the greatest show on earth so i went all out and got tickets for both nights...the first night was horrible...(the show everyone has seen on tv or videos is edited from two nights) between every artist there was an intermission for like
29-30 minutes..it started around 7:30 and ended about 12:00am...people were booing at marlon brando and liza minelli...it was so BORING...at last michael came on and there was no energy...we had seen about 15 terrible performances...and a whole night of michael worship on these big screens...(showing fans fainting all over the world...chasing him...and the big statue of him in europe with the army of synchronized military men... rolleyes
his singing and performing was ok...but the same as people like usher and N synch trying to COPY him...it was plastic...he sang u rock my world to a tape...covered his face a million times while singing...and did the same shit we have seen since 1983 Red beat it jacket for beat it...slash playing rock lead guitar...black sequined jacket with white socks and a black hat for billie jean...moonwalk after u say HEE !!! Hoo!!! (moonwalk, spin...get on your toes...ect) and we all had seen it done better and fresher....then the morning after the 2nd show...i woke up to the news that airplanes just ran into the world trade center...i looked out my window and yes...it was true...mass hysteria in manhattan it was 9/11
thats all i remember...

Thank you very much for taking your time. Do you agree that Jermaine sounded good in I'll be there?

I'm so mad at myself for not getting tickets somehow. However, it seems like 9-11 made that NY area a madhouse. I know it was probably CRAZY.

While, I'm sure the seats were better there, it sounds like it might have been a let down. However, I would have much perfered a Michael concert without all the celebrity fans doing their remakes of his classics.

I think that was Mike´s worst performance ever. I don´t know what was wrong with him that night. YOu could see he didn´t feel well.

Here is another question along the MJ lines..

If Michael does come back to USA to live (which I realize might not happen..but if it does..)

What will he be up against? Does he have cases pending in USA waiting for him to arrive back? Because I know since he is out of the country I don't think they can force him to return just to give a disposition in a civil case. Last time I checked I don't think he has criminal cases pending....

There's been no news of any criminal investigations or charges. Well, there was a recent rumor that he was quietly under investigation for drug smuggling...but this was reported in the Sun (tabloid), and not anywhere else, so I wouldn't put much stock in it. rolleyes

I think there are a few civil cases against him...quite frankly, I've lost track of them! I believe you're right, he can't be compelled to give a deposition or come back for one of those, if he's overseas (but I'm not a lawyer). Quite frankly, I think he's overseas for that reason, to avoid this huge mess that's going on! JMHO.

As for his lip-synching...yesterday I was going to suggest maybe complications from his nose jobs had something to do with it, but I couldn't find the picture I wanted to use as evidence. Now I've found it...take a look and tell me what you think: is it just a problem with this pic, or is there something going on with the roof of his mouth? eek
(Note this pic is from the April 2002 American Bandstand 50th anniversary show; I got it from http://www.neverland-vall...nd_010.htm )

and I've seen it on other sites before, too.

IMO, he wasn't addicted at the time of HIStory/BOTDF. After that, he broke his foot, hurt his arm, and sprained his ankle. Each time he was saying in how much pain he was, and occasionally you would hear reports he was taking painkillers at those times. Shortly afterwards, you got him either all bouncy or all drowsy. I'm not sure what was wrong with him at the time of MSG, and while there was still a glimpse of brilliance at times, he looked sooo sick at the time (also in the video of YRMW, actually). In the past, all that wouldn't have mattered: the shows/music would rock, he would appear in control and his handlers/record company would make everything run smooth. Now he appears amateurish, desperate and just sad really. Me too I wish he would get it together (I've always been convinced he would, because no matter what he did, or what people said or wrote, he was still the King, making things happen), but i'm afraid it's only wishfull thinking at this point neutral

Could be just light, could be possible that he's got prosthetic teeth. It's not rare at all.
