I think I'm going to have to watch 'Men in Black' again before I set out to watch part II. What I like about Will is that he always manages to puts a smile on my face no matter what mood I'm in. There was a time when I never missed an episode of 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air'. His new song ain't that bad either, I'm gonna give it a chance just cause I enjoy watching him!!!

Will Smith is what Michael Jackson used to be...a Black artist with mass appeal who appeals to young children as well as adults.His music is non-threatening, profanity-free,and he does "family films".I like the fact that he doesn't have that silly,tired "thug image" that every other rapper has these days.He's proving that you can be popular without having to resort to negativity and cussing.But My Difference is that MJ also was Making A Musical Impact on Record&Video.what has Will Smith made that is Great as a Music Artist or in Film?? I like some of His Earlier Rap Songs.One Good Film"Six Degrees of Seperation"&and then alot of Smarty Ass Rip off Eddie Murphy 2nd-tier throwaways.MJ also had Miles Davis,Herbie Hancock,etc.. given Him Props as a Artist I don't think Will could Get Gary Coleman to Give Him Props as a Actor or Recording Artist?? He messed up Ali.Ali is a Big Influence on Me&that was a Bad WInded Joke.Will Smith is like the Black Tom Cruise: in that it's Shinny&alot of GLitz but very little Substance in many of His Films.the respect as a Actor isn't fully there.case in Point if His Acting in Ali would have been Half Way Good He breaks the Tie Between Russell Crowe&Denzel Washington last year.also think about this: 9-11-01&the Impact of Ali in New York City.Will just doesn't have a Soulful It.He is Catchy but little Substance Overall IMHO.His Films&Music Videos,etc.. He seems like that Guy putting on that Magic Johnson Face of Laughing at everything in that Fake Cali Laugh.Ha!Ha! let's do lunch HA!HA!Will has worked hard no doubt but unlike MJ we won't be talking about any Will Project 10-20 Years from Now IMHO.

But let's be real...music isn't really his priority these days.He's had so much success as an actor,that's his main gig.

Hear we go. I Absolutely, Absolutely LOVE WILL SMITH! His raps and singing is PRIMO! His acting Fantastic and He is just SO DAMNED FINE! Besides PRINCE this is my Absolute Favorite ! AH! What a MAN!!! HUNK!

Not diggin' Will, never really have. He was great in 6 Degrees & "Summertime" will ALWAYS bump - I can do without everything else he's done (the undeserved Ali nomination will fuck him up for years). But I'm happy for him: he's happily married w/ kids, great career, assloads of $ - can't be mad at that. Just don't expect to see me buying his CD's or sitting in his movies...
