the glam rock thread!

well a very interesting little movement in the 70's no..i adore so..
in my opinion the best bands were
david bowie(not a band who cares)
t.rex
roxy music
iggy pop(thought not usually put in that genre)
lou reed

and also the neo-glammest..

i just watch that movie..i love it

Yum, yum, yum! Glam is one of my very favorite genres of music, with David Bowie, Lou Reed and Roxy Music leading the pack!

Could you consider ELTON JOHN.....GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD and CARIBOU Time GLAM? SEQUINS and Glasses and Platforms, Gary GLITTER...ROck N ROll. Wasn't this the Mid 70's?

They don't hold a candle to Bowie, Roxy Music, Lou Reed, etc. KISS just masquerades as glam but truly is straight up rock 'n roll.
