Kanye West opening for U2 on tour?

Wow. I just checked the U2 website, which, by the way is $40 a year to be a member and Kanye West is opening for some of the upcoming shows. That is an odd mix isn't it? Well, hopefully that will go well but it seems odd doesn't it? Could be just me.
