Anyone into the Stray Cats? I don't own any of their music but I think they're cool. I like Rock this town! Brian Setzer is doing his Xmas show in a couple of weeks and i'm thinking of going. I would imagine i'd be the only sister there but whatever. I dig his rock a billy/swing sound. It's cool.

After I saw the thread, I KNEW that u were the one that wrote it before I looked over to the author. But yeah, I dug them when I was in Jr. High. I have their first album. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
nammie "What BGZ says I believe. I have the biggest crush on him." http://ccoshea19.googlepa...ssanctuary http://ccoshea19.googlepages.com

I hear talk that he's one of the most incredible guitar players but you wouldnt know by the music he releases.

He's a kick-ass guitar player and he does get his lead guitar rocks off, even in the context of the Brian Setzer Orchestra. They're great live. My author page: https://www.amazon.com/au...eretttruth

I could believe that and he seems cool as heck too. One cool cat! If you see them play live (I watched a DVD Live in Brixton I think?), you'd see how great he is. Check this song out at:

You're not alone. I dig them too. But I'm more of a Brian Setzer fan. The dude is bad! Setzer combines rockabilly and big band into some serious jam. I like the Stray Cat Strut and Rock This Town. But wait until you hear him give them the big band treatment. Phenomenal! He took an old funeral dirge of a gospel song called, "This Old House" and turned into a rocking anthem! Popular theme songs from Hawaii 5-0 and Peter Gunn like you never heard them before! Too bad we can't attend the concert together. Anyway, I'm there in spirit. Have a great time...
