I ain't hatin' on her because obviously this is her time and she is a hard worker, but I will have to admit. In this short time span that he's been out plus after splitting from Destiny's Child, unless her career goes downspiral I don't see Miss B doing another Destiny's Child album, tour, or nothin' else for a long, long, time unless she ends up like Sisqo, BBD, Ralph Tresvant or any New Edition member who's second album effort failed so they eventually had to go back their former groups.

When I asked the question does she get too much credit this is what I mean

She just recorded a song with Stevie Wonder (I didn't know about) on the Luther Vandross tribute album and speaking of Luther I played an interview he did with Tom Joyner right before had his stroke where he was saying marvoulous things about Beyonce and the song they did together and I've never heard him say that about Cheryl Lynn, Dionne Warwick and any other women he's recorded with talkin' bout the song he and B did together was like Hiroshima all over again. The Closer... is an ok song, but most definitely can NOT touch the original cover and I was actually shocked that Luther was complementing another female like this. He was giving her too much credit to me.

And now the latest. Beyonce is one of 3 people who will honor Tina Turner. I know she's done some her moves, but it's over the top. The way things are lookin' unless Kelly and Michelle turn a 360 on Beyonce we won't even know who those 2 are in 5 years, maybe not even that long, if you don't know what I mean Destiny's Child are suppose to have split up and gone their separate ways and here K and M are being Beyonce's models for the House of Dereon when B and her mother Tina was on Oprah. Only time will tell, but for now it looks like everythings happening for Miss Beyonce. Kelly and Michelle WHO?

Yes. She's awful.

She's not awful but I think we all can see that the two members ofDC who were kicked out, were right about Beyonce.

DC was all about getting Beyonce out there.


She's the "it" girl. Fantasia is probably vocally better but because the industry is so caught up in looks, Beyonce will rule.

Bey can actually sing a bit.

Of course she gets by on her looks. She has from day one.

I don't think she'll fade into a punchline as long as she manages her career competently. She's been too successful to just fade. Despite her best efforts, Mariah did not go gently into that good night. I can't see Bey doing any diferently.

Is Beyonce over rated? Certainly. But that doesn't mean she isn't talented. She can both sing and dance better than your average pop idol. Doesn't hurt to look at her either. Couple her talents with marketing and she'll continue to excel. I've heard the rumors that Destiny Child was just a vehicle for Beyounce. SO?!?!? DC was being managed by her dad. Excuse me but what parent wouldn't have done the same thing? Did any of the other girls' father have a better route for them to succeed. I don't understand people. Too many of us expect others to care more about our self interests than we do. Its stupid for them to assume Knowles to care as much about them as his own daughter. Please!

Beyonce also benefits from her good looks and hair weave. But again, so what? You use what you got. I believe Fantasia, Angie Stone and IndiaArie all to be better singers. But they don't have the looks or the moves. Lets not forget, the music business is very shallow...

I find it funny that people are all ga-ga over her looks. I think she's the least attractive of the 3 in Destiny's Child. She's not ugly, but I don't think she's pretty either.

Beyonce does have charisma. There`s just something about her that is very likeable.
"Crazy in love" is a decent song, and she looked amazing in the video. Her look plays an important part.

Well, for those of you that think B is oevrrated, P asked her to sing with him at the Grammys I believe, 2 years ago. So if PRINCE REQUESTS you, then you MUST be the genuine article. B is talented and I think she gets a lot of misled hateration thrown towards her. I'm not a big fan of her's but I was schooled on her abilities by this sistuh a while back, so I can give her her propers.

If B's got, she's got it and I think she can sing, but I just couldn't get over Luther going on about their duet when nothing can top "If this world were mine" with Cheryl Lynn. Plus did anyone see The Tom Joyner show where Tom, Miss Dupree, and Myra Jaye were Destiny's Child 20 years later? They said it all. It was hilarious, but in good humor.

Don't forget Luther was trying to sell albums. He was a professional to the very end...

Beyonce is talented and attractive, but most of her music (both with "DC" and solo) is as watered-down and generic as anything else on the radio these days, so...

ya know, i maybe wayyyyy off (and i hope i am) but i think part of all the beyonce hate is the fact that she's beautiful and people constantly talk about how good looking she is. IMO she has a nice voice (overexposure is a bitch tho) but if she wasnt cute, if she was just some average looking, round the way chick, with unpolished edges, tats and a nose ring i doubt yall would hate so much. i think if she was just regular she would be taken for what she is. and yes the overexposure doesnt help BUT i think if she was regular alot of u would be able to see past the hype

For me Kelly is the most attractive of the three, but Beyonce is the one you'd pay to see. She's a performer. I don't like her music enough to buy it but I'd go to see her show. However, she better tone down on those Wal-Mart and cosmetics ads.

She's really at a point where she could die off or she could be around for another 10-15 years. It all depends on what direction she goes in.
