"Push" will be the third single from Madonna's album---details on the video

After the recent success of her comeback song "Hung Up" and the eminent success of the follow-up club smash "Sorry",Madonna will start the new year fresh with her 3rd single entitled "Push".She will reunite with Johan Renck to film the video in January that is said to be set on her England home grounds and will feature her children being the things that motivate her in her life.Madonna says "the video will be sort of a portrait to my family, because they are the ones who keep me going"----Rolling Stone

nod that's the one,although I don't think it's crappy lol

it's easy to see why Warners is choosing this song as a single. It's a really commercial,radio-friendly track that has an R&B flavor to it.It's a "safe" choice for a single.

Is this a cover of the Prince D&P song? Is Tony M going to feature on it?

Well I think Jump is the strongest thing shes done in years, single wise, plus the fact that it features on the sticker on the album, id be very suprise if its released after Push (alhtough i really like Push and hope it is indeed a single).

The first single "Hung Up" is still on the charts. It's Number 7 in America right now.

The second single "Sorry" will be released at the end of this month. The video will be a sequel to the popular "Hung Up" video.

and now "Push" is being mentioned as the third single. It's not unusual for artists to plan their singles in advance.

any other questions? lol

Mr7

'Jump' or 'Push' will do the trick.

In fact, I'm suprised either of those two songs haven't been chosen as the second single.

My personal favourite from 'Confessions' is 'Get Together'. Fantastic track.

Brilliant song, i would say it'd make a better 4th single than push, but in mmy head ive always kind of thought it would be a cool album track song. You know when you buy an album after hearing all of the singles, itd be a nice surprise to find a track of Get Together's quality on there.

I would like to see a video for Get Together as I think she could do something really special with it, whereas i dont see much promise for the videos of say Jump or Push. To be honest Ive always picked those 5 songs as singles, i dont think any others come into contention.

If she releases "Sorry" next (in the States at least), she's gonna be, um, sorry.

Just not going to hit in the US. I'm still betting "Jump" is second US single.

I'm pretty sure that this is an unsubstantiated rumor. Push would be an awful choice for a third single. It would totally kill the momentum of the record.

It makes sense as a single, but it is one of my lesser favorites on the album.

I hope "Jump" and "Get Together" are released before "Push".

"Push" will probably do well on the American charts. "Jump" has to be a single evantually...if not, it screams of when she released "Nothing Fails" as a miserable remix and releasing "Instant Impressive" only to clubs (yes, I know she wanted it to be a pop single). BTW, I've already heard "Sorry" on Sirius radio and they put (New Music) next to it...it was the current dance station, which kind of sucks. I've also heard "Jump" but that was on some gay request show (it was litterally gay...the OutQ station).

Yeah, that song sort of gets on my nerves. My favorite part of it, though, is what I think is the bridge where she goes "Every step I take...."). The verse is annonying.

"Push" is OK, but as a 3rd single? I think that either "Jump" or "Get Together" would be good choices. "Push" has an alright chance of doing well in America, but it doesnt strike me as anything special (considering it practically rips Tom Tom Clubs "Genius of Love" and The Police's "I'll Be Watching You").

Then again, I felt the same about Gwen's "Luxurious"(which rips Isley Bros. or Notorious BIG, depending on which generation your from), yet it's doing fine. So what do I know?

I think "Sorry" could hit well. If promoted properly, it could be Madonna's biggest hit in years.
