I don't know which ones are singles. I just got into Jamiroquai a few months ago.

I called a longtime friend of mine, who is another fellow funk lover, thinking I was going to hip him to something he didn't know about....Jamiroquai. I was going to make him a CD but I was too late, he already knew about him. lol I made him a CD of the new album "Dynamite" and he made me CDs of two albums I didn't have...."Emergency On Planet Earth" and "Traveling Without Moving". These two were....OK....but I much preferred the two I already have which are more uptempo...."A Funk Odyssey" and "Dynamite".

it's a shame he didn't make you a CD of 'Synchronized'.That's the one you will LOVE.It contains the disco jam "Canned Heat",which is featured in the popular movie 'Napoleon Dynamite'.

I wish disco hadn't burned itself out so severely in the US, cause Jamiroquai is sick. I loved Little L and Canned Heat. I really thought Napoleon Dynamite was about to give them a boost. They coulda hopped on that and rereleased the video with clips from the movie and made a fuckin mint. How come nobody thought of that?

I'm so disappointed in the lack of promotion they receive here in the States."Seven Days In Sunny June" is the best single I heard in 2005.With proper promotion,it could have been a big hit.But once again,Sony didn't know what to do with it.

I'll be on the look out for that one.

He already had "A Funk Odyssey" and he made me a copy of the only other two he had. He didn't know about the new one, so I made him a copy of that one.

I would tell you which songs are starting to grow on me but he didn't include a track listing of the two albums. I don't blame him though. Those damn plastic cases cost just as much as the blank CDs. I gave him a "naked" CD also. lol

Why is it that neither FYE, nor Sam Goody carries any Jamiroquai cd's? I've never heard any of the music and I'm dying to see what the fuss is about. I guess my curiosity will have to wait...

If you ever check out one of their cd's, I recommend you get "Return of the Space Cowboy." IMO it's their best album, but I've been a fan since they first came out and I tend to favor their older material. I'm not a fan of their last 2 albums.

I picked up "A Funk Odyssey" at Circuit City, of all places.

From an "old skool"fan I expected U would like the first 2 more than his new work.Especially his first(Emergency...) still gets a lot off recognition.
Some say he became more commercial with his last albums but I
don't care.I even like the production/sound much better since Synkronized.
It's indeed more uptempo.

1.Litle L
2.Canned Heat
3.Virtual Insanity
4.Cosmic Girl
5.Half the man
6.Return of the spacecowboy
7.Alright
8.Too young to die
9.Blow your mind
10.King for a day

they all sound the same. a top 10 singles list could be on a maxi single of "virtual insanity" as slightly altered remixes like prince's "cream" maxi single.

"deeper underground" did sound different. but thats only 2

No. I like the latest two better....a lot less jazz influence and more uptempo funk and disco influence.
